Serena Swanson is a Contemporary Artist, born in the UK, whose work spans photography, film, performance and installation.
Swanson is a mentor for Tate Collective Producers and has worked as an Interim Associate Lecturer at Central Saint Martins, UAL. Alongside her collaborators, she was awarded a grant in 2020 from Samsung KX to fund a series of intergenerational educational workshops in digital modelling. In 2019, she co-curated the inaugural ‘Exxistenz’ exhibition with Johanne Christinsen and Freyja Eilif of international artists at The Museum of Perceptive Art in Reykjavík, Iceland.
Swanson graduated with a First Class Honours in BA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, UAL in 2021. Recent projects include ‘My Art School’, Kingswood Arts, London (2024) and ‘A Night with MP3 (More Pussy 3mpire)’, Avalon Café, London (2023). Recent group exhibitions include ‘Vanitas’, The Jazz Café, London (2023), ‘Impermanence’, Safehouse 1&2, London (2023) and ‘Slowness’, The Lethaby Gallery (2023).
